With the Matcha Mantoku we have a rarity from the tea world in our range. It is fired a little stronger than usual and therefore has a very complex taste with a warm, velvety nutty taste, intense and yet almost without bitterness. It is not only suitable for the light Matcha (Usucha), but is also suitable for the thick preparation (Koicha) due to its mild aroma. Our tip: Iced Matcha - the perfect refreshment in summer! Preparing a classic hot matcha and serving it on ice is an exciting variant that creates a wonderful interplay of hot and cold. But preparation with cold water is also a real treat in hot temperatures or during exercise and when there is no hot water available. The little shaker is particularly suitable for preparing. With the shaker you can easily conjure up a dense, fine crema on the matcha. Matcha Mantoku from KEIKO is freshly ground in Germany. The tea plants from which we make Matcha are traditionally 90% shaded. The plants develop a lot of chlorophyll, theanine and caffeine, but a little less bitter substances. After the tea leaves have been steamed and dried, the leaf tissue is separated from the leaf veins. The delicate, flaky pieces of leaf tissue are called "Tencha" and are later slowly ground into high-quality Matcha on traditional granite stone mills. In order to preserve the sensitive ingredients in the best possible way, we at KEIKO freshly grind the matcha on real Japanese granite stone mills directly at our location in Diepholz as required. Did you know that traditional Matcha develops unique and fine aromas due to the elaborate production and gentle grinding, which range from nutty and mild to aromatic and intense? In order to preserve the valuable aromas and ingredients of the Matcha as best as possible, we ask you to close the Matcha well and store it in a cool and dark place. This wonderfully green Matcha is one of the rarities in the tea world! Matcha Mantoku is a very complex Kagoshima Matcha. Its scent has a fresh and at the same time warm note. It unfolds an abundance of indescribable aromas on the tongue.
