The Matcha Tekiro is distinguished above all by its fresh, slightly grassy and almost sweet-fruity taste. A slightly tart note can be found here together with an intense fragrance and jade-green foam. Tekiro is ideal for thin liquid preparation (Usucha). Our tip: Iced Matcha - the perfect refreshment in summer! Preparing a classic hot matcha and serving it on ice is an exciting variant that creates a wonderful interplay of hot and cold. But preparation with cold water is also a real treat in hot temperatures or during exercise and when there is no hot water available. The little shaker is particularly suitable for preparing. With the shaker you can easily conjure up a dense, fine crema on the matcha. The tea plants from which we make Matcha are traditionally 90% shaded. The plants develop a lot of chlorophyll, theanine and caffeine, but a little less bitter substances. After the tea leaves have been steamed and dried, the leaf tissue is separated from the leaf veins. The delicate, flaky pieces of leaf tissue are called "Tencha" and are later slowly ground into high-quality Matcha on traditional granite stone mills. In order to preserve the sensitive ingredients in the best possible way, we at KEIKO freshly grind the matcha on real Japanese granite stone mills directly at our location in Diepholz as required.
