Organic Lemon Miso PGI Menton (1kg bag)

We paired our one-year-old semi-complete medium rice miso with organic lemons from Menton (Protected Geographical Indication). The Lemon of Menton is "the sweetest of lemons", it has fresh aromas and clearly identifiable fine flavors which marry admirably with miso to decorate raw vegetables, salads or fish. This miso is an original alternative to Miso Yuzu. Having chosen to use only yuzus grown in France, quantities are very limited. We have found in Le Citron de Menton an advantageous alternative, with new flavors that open up new horizons. Use : We use Menton Lemon miso for a fresh and tangy salad dressing typical of Japanese lunch-sets or our French raw vegetables. It also allows a fantastic marinade of fish fillets, (cod, salmon or escolar) which it will not only enhance the taste, but also bring a new texture. A delight to grill after 2 hours of marinade, possible with a little cooking saké: the residual sugars will make a delicious caramelized grill. This miso can also be used in instant miso soup diluted in a bowl with hot water, but never boil it to preserve its probiotic qualities. Good tasting ! Conservation : Non-pasteurized, KŪRA miso is a living product, which can be stored for a long time by continuing to mature and retaining its probiotic qualities. Store in the refrigerator upon receipt and for several months.
