Bodega Tosalet Priorat Old Vines - Foreign Wine Spain - Red Spanish Wine - Vintage 2019 Description: Bodega Tosalet, Priorat Old Vines, Spain Grapes: 50% Grenache, 35% Carignan, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon Hammeken Cellars wanted to differentiate themselves from other Spanish producers by crafting modern Spanish wines and sourcing low-yielding old vines throughout Spain. This wine is made from vines over 50 years old and reveals complex and very intense aromas of fruit and spices such as cranberries, red cherries, black berries, tobacco and cocoa associated with notes of slate and eucalyptus. On the palate, it is voluminous, the tannins are firm and ripe and structure the wine well. Undertones of cracked pepper and licorice add the final sparkle that makes it pleasantly lingering.
