the coffees are produced in the area of the Eastern FORE peoples in the OKAPA region, province of the Eastern Highlands of the island. Their coffee trees grow between 1800 and 2000m above sea level, the main varieties are Ashura, Typica and Bobona among others. the vast majority of coffees are washed and fermented for between 30 and 36 hours before drying in the sun. The farmers' association brings together 1598 small farmers from different villages within the same constitution, there is cultural and linguistic unity and the villages can be reached on foot between them.
