It was in Morocco that the seed of the project began to germinate in the minds of the two friends. Both in love with this land that is as warm as it is welcoming, they meet Fouzia, a 20-minute trail from Ait Yadine. She lives alone with her mother and has been weaving magnificent rugs since the age of 15. After a long time spent admiring her work, they set off to meet other women practicing the same art.
Finally Guylaine and Marie-Laurence stay there for three days. Three days full of emotion, sharing and happiness! Their creations are incredible, their ancestral know-how. They leave this village of stars with their eyes full and a promise: to discover the work of Fouzia and all these women in the four corners of France.
Having meaning means being consistent, making choices and moving in the direction that drives us. The M girls have chosen to give meaning to the articles offered by remaining faithful to their values, their convictions and their identity.
How to give meaning to an object?
The M girls know each artisan personally.e who imagined, created and manufactured the objects sold on this site. Today, a relationship of trust has been forged between us. Based on respect and fair remuneration allowing some of them to live more decently.
