Cirò d.o.c. Rosso Superiore Riserva 2016 "Il Messere"

Rosso Superiore Riserva wine with a light ruby red color with orange reflections, it is obtained exclusively from black "Gaglioppo" grapes from a single vineyard planted with low saplings and only in particularly qualitative vintages. With an alcohol content that can vary from 13.5% to 14.5% Vol, the Messere is aged for at least 4 years in steel and another 6 months in the bottle in order to present a particular and unique product, which can be tasted even 10 years after the harvest. It has a complex nose that recalls wild rose, spices, leather and cinnamon. It is a dry, full-bodied and persistent wine with intense and noble tannins that round off over time. Gastronomic suggestions Game, game, red meats, seasoned and spicy cheeses, spicy and seasoned cured meats. Given the particular characteristics, it can also be defined as a meditation wine, to be enjoyed outside the pleasures of the table.
