Sweet Figueras, sweet wine, Clos Figueras

37.5cl bottle Clos Figueras' first sweet wine made from the late-harvest 100% Garnacha negra variety with almost raisined grapes. The harvest is done manually with a double selection of the grapes both in the vineyard and in the cellar. The fermentation is cold, stopping expressly before it ends in order to obtain the sugar. Tasting notes: Red wine with a strawberry red color, clean, and with good tear formation. Aromas of floral extract, such as rose or violet, and notes of currant and red fruit. The entry into the mouth is fresh, elegant and velvety. It has a smooth and long mid palate, with explosions of red fruit, a pleasant and broad finish. Serving temperature: 6-8ºC Elaboration: The harvest is manual using boxes of 15 kg. Once in the winery, a second selection of the grapes is made. Fermentation at low temperatures, the alcoholic fermentation is stopped with 1% Vol. of Alcohol expressly before it ends in order to preserve sugar. Finally there are about 80g/l of residual sugar.
