Our history
Once upon a time, hidden in the heart of the Vitré region, between Rennes and Laval, there was a pretty farm where the family produced organic milk from multiflora meadows. Among the siblings, there was a little girl who loved ice cream above all else... so much so that she made it her favorite dessert!
When the age came to choose a career, the little girl, rich in her desire to undertake and promote milk from the farm, decided to make her own ice creams... But be careful, not just any way, nor with just anything...
Thus were born Mademoiselle Fayel ice creams to delight young and old.
I am Julie Lemesle, creator of the Mademoiselle Fayel brand of organic and artisanal Breton ice creams, I followed my dream and my sweet tooth to the end.
A passion, a profession...
Respect for nature, animals and people are principles upheld by food artisans, whose professions often rhyme with passion. I did not intend to take over the family farm but wanted, in my own way, to highlight milk production and carry the values transmitted by my father of doing better and good.
Quality and creativity...
He's so much better (or normal!)to taste a product when we know its composition, its origin and whose only requirement is to delight us. With enthusiasm and an incredible thirst for entrepreneurship, I produce my ice creams with love and market them with just as much passion. I (re)give taste and deliciousness to products that have too often been overused by sugar and synthetic flavors.
Our particularities & Our products
The quality of our ice creams is the result of a specific production technique and carefully chosen ingredients. Thanks to long maturation during manufacturing and low expansion (proportion of air in the ice cream), we obtain a creamy ice cream rich in flavors.
We work as much as possible with local and passionate producers. In addition to the milk coming directly from our cows (which still graze!),the mint and verbena come from Grain de Méliss in Hédé-Bazouges (35) and the beer is produced at the Athanor brewery in Argentré-du-Plessis (35). The vanilla comes directly from an organic cooperative in Reunion Island. Using organic products allows you to have high quality ingredients and also to know their origin to guarantee reassuring traceability in the eyes of consumers.
Furthermore, research and development of our range of ice creams is at the heart of our thinking. It is essential to offer ever more original and innovative recipes in the future.
