A schnapps of a special kind: If you want to offer your guests something different than the classic Obstler, the Grafschaft Mark schnapps with the flavor Quetsch (plum) is the right choice. An excellent brandy for in between, to heat up the mood or as a nightcap after a delicious meal. Only exquisite and regional plums are used, which then become a full-bodied plum brandy through several months of barrel storage under the best conditions. An extremely fine and extraordinary fruit brandy that you like to enjoy pure. Like squeeze liqueur, the Obstler Zwetschge is suitable at a drinking temperature of 16 to 18 °C. This spirit is strongly reminiscent of a Christmas cake of English or Irish tradition, which is named after Christmas, but is also enjoyed outside of the festive season. The dark fruit cake is related to our fruit bread and is repeatedly soaked in brandy or whiskey so as not to become too dry. The old Quetsch is fruit bread in a glass - without any crumbs!
