
Mirabelle is a classic brandy in Alsace. It is made from Mirabelle plums from Lorraine or Alsace, small and yellow speckled with pink, with a very sweet and fragrant taste. This Mirabelle eau-de-vie is obtained by fermenting the fruits with their stones for 3 to 4 weeks. After fermentation, the fruit puree is pitted before being left to rest for 8 weeks to further develop the aromas. After distillation, the eau-de-vie is stored in stainless steel vats before being reduced to the degree using Steige spring water; of great purity because it is naturally filtered by the Vosges schist; with cold filtration to perfect the manufacturing. Tasting notes: • Nose: very fragrant, we find the soul of ripe fruit • Mouth: very refined, supple, with a taste of honey with a powerful bouquet of fruit. Dry aromas reveal the character specific to stone fruit • Finish: fresh and chiseled Usage tips : - Pure as a digestive - As a cocktail (Lorrain punch or long drink with sparkling water or soda) - In pastry (souffle, cake, pancakes, tarts)
