MIRABELLE OF NANCY

Its yellow-gold color is legendary - as is the growing area in Lorraine. At mühle4 we produced our first distillate from the Mirabelle plum from Nancy in 2016 - the 2018 vintage with its particularly luscious, sweet fruits inspired us to carry out spontaneous fermentation: the fruit was fermented very slowly and carefully without the addition of yeast. We also left the kernels in the mash - and were rewarded with a very soft, fruity brandy, enriched with wonderful notes of almonds. A real experience!
