Vera Int-Veen has a passion for good spices – that's why she insisted on visiting our Kampot farm The Pepper Hill in Cambodia. Kampot in Cambodia is THE growing area for pepper. One of the best peppers in the world is produced here, which is why real Kampot pepper is also a protected geographical indication. Great new ideas have emerged on our farm, we have freshly implemented these ideas into three fantastic Kampot originals – directly from the farm: Veras Tuk Meric A special specialty from Cambodia. In Cambodia, Vera was fascinated by this traditional dip called Tuk Meric. A mixture of Kampot pepper, salt and palm sugar (we use coconut palm sugar) is mixed with lime juice to create a wonderfully savory sauce that is perfect as a dip for meat, shrimp, vegetables, etc. Simply mix 1 teaspoon of this mixture with twice the amount of lime juice and you're done.
