Porcini mushrooms (powder)

This great classic mushroom, widely used in French gastronomy, is the most consumed wild mushroom in France. It grows from August to November and thrives particularly well in the woods and forests of the center and southwest. Our porcini mushroom powder is made in France in Lozère from “Boletus Edulis” porcini mushrooms picked near young spruce plantations. Once harvested, the porcini mushrooms are cleaned, cut into thin strips and then passed through a wooden dryer; the entire transformation process is done manually. Porcini mushroom powder is characterized by its ease of use. It is ideal for flavoring soups, meats and associated sauces, eggs, fried potatoes or gratin potatoes.Origin: France (Lozère)
