Green pepper is obtained from immature berries of the black pepper plant. Less pungent than black pepper, it is fine and fragrant. Freeze-dried green pepper has a flavor very close to fresh pepper. It is used in the preparation of sauces and marinades for meats as well as in Asian cuisine. Green pepper is consumed fresh, in brine or freeze-dried, as is the case here. Freeze-drying is a process that consists of removing as much water as possible by freezing and then sublimation. This conservation is the one that makes it possible to maintain the greatest taste and therapeutic qualities of the pepper. Origin: Madagascar
