Volcano srl is the first Sicilian gin producer, based on the northern slope of Etna. The
project, with a strong territorial identity, was born in 2016 and after 2 years of careful study
of packaging and recipe definition in July 2018 makes its debut on the Italian market with
Volcano Etna Dry Gin.
We choose local raw materials that we select meticulously with the aim of
bottle the aromas and perfumes that pervade the lands of the highest active volcano
of Europe. The design of our bottles is inspired by the era of prohibition and the
speakeasy with massive glass and a handcrafted volcanic sand cap
by local artists, which has now become our trademark. A piece of Etna
will travel with every single bottle of Volcano, wherever it goes, flies or stays.
In August 2021, the first Sicilian rosé gin was launched: Volcano Etna Rosé Gin.
Made with a unique technique, instead of using the classic red fruits or flower petals,
we take a cue from the Sur Lies winemaking technique, putting the lees into maceration
noble of the Nerello Mascalese DOC of the Petto Dragone district with the mass of gin, ne
follows Bâtonnage and subsequent soft gravity filtering. Elegant on the nose and on the palate
with sumptuous vinous nuances. We also produce a Volcano branded tonic water
Indian style with hints of slightly citrus quinine.
Art and craftsmanship are the foundations of our values. Our Limited Editions of
hand-painted bottles are unique and unrepeatable pieces, also made on request. For the
disco club world we have thought of a line of bottles painted with Fluo paint
that light up in the night.
To date we have almost 1000 active and loyal customers who share our values and
celebrate our products throughout Italy. Outside the national borders Volcano has laid the
its roots in Australia, America, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Switzerland,
Luxembourg, Hungary, Holland, Belgium and many other countries we still have on the table
interesting projects.
