The Piano di Rustano estate is located in the high lands of Macerata, in the territory of Castelraimondo (MC). We are in the Marche Region in a hilly area where the climate is more similar to the continental one than to the Mediterranean one. The strong temperature variations between day and night, characteristic at an altitude of 400 m. a.s.l., affect the biological activity of the vine and make it possible to obtain grapes with an extraordinary character in terms of quality and aromas.
On the grounds of the estate, under the watchful gaze of the Sibillini Mountains, Verdicchio di Matelica, Malvasia Bianca di Candia, San Giovanni and Merlot are grown, for a total area of about 10 hectares. The winery is located on the ground floor of the imposing building in Piano di Rustano, inhabited by the Lebboroni family, owner of the estate for 4 generations. There is also a wine shop where you can enjoy tastings and buy wines, in bulk and bottled.
Our wines are characterized by fresh drinkability and the ability, with a single sip, to give free play to our senses. They are virtuous wines, of rare elegance, self-confident but discreet. Wines that despite the hardships of being born in the mountains, are not afraid of the passage of time.
