Hi! My name is Tessa and out of my passion for tea and sustainability I started 9teas. At 9teas we only sell loose tea because we believe that this is not only the most delicious, but also the best for our planet.
Loose leaf tea is fortunately becoming more and more popular, but many people still choose the convenience of a pre-packaged (plastic) tea bag and that's a shame. Besides the fact that a tea bag contributes to the waste problem and often consists of billions of microplastics, a lot of flavor is lost when tea leaves are ground into the fine powder that is in a tea bag. Did you know that some tea bags not only contain plastic but are also bleached?
At 9teas, we believe it is important to minimize our impact on the environment. We are therefore proud to say that our packaging is fully recyclable and 100% plastic-free.
