Honduras is a small country but it is the 4th world producer of Arabica coffees. Gaia Coffee Farm is a Bernard Ornilla project that grows organic specialty coffees under the shade of fruit, timber and ornamental trees. This is their washed coffee that has surprised us with its juiciness and the intensity of its aromas. Region: Las Capucas, in front of the Celaque Natural Park. Varieties: Yellow Catuai, Red Catuai, Lempira and Red Bourbon. Roast: Medium within the standards of Specialty Coffees. Recently roasted coffee, in small batches. Altitude: 1,650m Sensory description: Juicy. Notes of red fruits and caramel. Marked acidity. Recommended preparations: Espresso, Aeropress, Italian.
