FRESHNESS | NO BITTERNESS Harvest of April 2023, in Shizuoka (Japan). 🍵 SHINCHA PREPARATION Infuse approximately 2-3 g of tea (one teaspoon) in 200 ml of water at approximately 75°C for 1 min. It is possible to infuse a second time in slightly warmer water (around 80°C) and only 30 seconds will suffice. This tea can also be steeped in cold water for several hours for an incredibly smooth result. 🌱 FROM THE FIRST HARVEST OF SPRING 2023 Shincha is a green tea from the very first spring tea harvest, preceded by several months during which the tea bushes are said to be "dormant". Shin means new and cha means tea. If this "new tea" is so popular worldwide, it is because it can only be purchased once a year, and in limited quantities. Teas from the first harvest are known to be the best Japanese teas. In the flavors, the smell and even the color of this Shincha, we find its great freshness. It is without bitterness, almost sweet. Its unique flavors and all the minerals drawn from the soil throughout the winter make it incomparable. We are happy to give you the opportunity to taste this exceptional tea, harvested by our partner farmers just a few weeks ago. 🌱 IN LIMITED QUANTITIES This April 2023 Shincha tea is slightly different from Shinchas of past and future years, as each harvest is unique, like those of grapes for wine.
