 Wine dedicated to grandfather Angelo Battista Gobbi, who started it all by planting the first Merlot vineyard in 1957. 
The signature on the label was taken from a letter full of love and romance sent to his wife, his grandmother, during the war, when he was unable to return home.
 Manual harvest with bunch selection; drying of the grapes for 4 months, soft manual pressing, fermentation in steel and then aging in American oak barriques Two years of aging in American oak barriques, one year in the bottle before being put on sale On the nose hints of chocolate, berries, toasted wood.
