Rosé Wine Lagar del Duque DO Cigales 12.5% - 6 Bottles of 75CL

The Duque García family allows us to tell one of those stories that we love to remember; hence their wines evoke these memories of yesteryear. Dedicated family to the estate since...even if they can't remember how many years they dedicated themselves to the meticulous care of the vines. They are not from a noble family, but from tireless workers who have made the expression "from sunrise to sunset" their trademark. The terroir, as they like to call it, fleeing Gallicisms like the Terroir, has seen five generations of Duque grow among its vineyards, a surname they proudly carry and have immortalized in naming their wines. It all started when grandfather Adrián bought his first hectare of land on the slopes of the municipality of Fuensaldaña, in the province of Valladolid, in 1890. His son Nereo continued and currently Nereo's son, Fermín, is the one who guides the steps of his two sons, Alfonso and Jose Carlos. They are the ones who continue to oversee every task carried out in the cellar. But the true soul of the Duque family is "Uncle Carlitos" who, at 81, rises when the sun has not yet risen to see the sunrise from the Duque family vineyards. The wines of the Duque family are endowed with character and personality. All have one common feature and that is high quality; quality that is given by the care that the family brings to each stage of the winemaking process. Here things are done as always, as before, generations ago. They continue to go out every morning to see each vineyard, each vine and an exhaustive follow-up of each of them is carried out. On the palate, the elegance of this rosé is well defined by the presence of sweet memories on the tip of the tongue resulting from perfect ripening of the grapes.
