Black Mountain Honey was founded in 2015. It's a family run, commercial bee farming business, producing artisan honey products, UK mated F1 queens and nucleus colonies.
Black Mountain Honey is an all natural, untreated, cold-filtered, award winning, wildflower honey. We focus on getting the honey straight from the hive and into the jar with minimal fuss, leaving all the good stuff inside.
We have won numerous awards across our range of products and have developed a secret recipe Hot Fire Honey that won 2 stars at last years Great Taste Awards - a must for any cheese board!
We appeared on James Martin's Saturday Kitchen and Ainsley Harriot's Good Mood Food in 2021. They both enjoyed our wide range of premium, unpasteurised Welsh Honey and spicy hot honey sauces!
We are committed to striving towards zero carbon beekeeping, measuring our environmental impact and capturing our carbon footprint. We understand the journey towards zero carbon status is a difficult one, but we are committed to stand by our values and look at reducing our carbon footprint, wherever possible.
We are dedicated to increasing biodiversity and improving pollinator habitats across North Wales. We often run promotions where we give away free pollinator seed mixes with our jars of honey and nucleus colonies.
