Borgo Monticelli

Monticelli Castle, which has over 1400 years of history, is located in Umbria 15 km from Perugia on a hill with an enchanting 360 degree view.   It is a farmhouse with 80 beds.   Over the centuries it was first a fortress, then a Benedictine monster and finally a noble residence. The castle's vegetable garden is certified organic and produces tomatoes of various types, but above all from sauce, beans, green beans, chickpeas, onions, garlic, porraccio or elephant garlic and roveja.   We also have an olive grove and an orchard of 200 plants each.   All products are harvested by hand.   We also produce strawberry grapes, apples, pears, peaches and raspberries and other berries.   Of processed products we mainly sell tomato sauce, compotes, different types of legumes, hemp flour, hemp seed oil, biscuits and taralli.
