
Its beautiful clear garnet color is strong and brilliant. On the nose, the aromas are rich and varied, with the presence of black and red fruits: blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry, cherry and strawberry, associated with woody aromas: humus and oak, to which are added animal notes: leather, game, but also spices: pepper, liquorice. We can also discern cocoa and smoke. The attack is flexible. The palate is structured, confirming the richness of the nose, to which pepper and cedar are added. After a nice length, we find a final touch of minerality and menthol freshness. HAS This vintage pairs well with matured or grilled meats, such as a leg of venison with fennel gratin and full-bodied juice, or veal paupiettes with mushrooms and fresh tagliatelle.
