We have chosen to innovate! To break away from the classics, we have created a recipe for nettle pesto, a plant with multiple benefits. Collected in the Combrailles in the heart of Auvergne, the nettles are then dried before being made into pesto. Nettle, less spicy than basil, brings a warm aroma to the mouth. This succulent and original recipe will delight gourmets and lovers of originality, many curious people are tempted by this pesto. How to taste it? You can use it as a classic pesto with pasta, as a sauce, to garnish buckwheat pancakes with raw ham or on ripe tomatoes... Our team's favorite recipe idea: Spread this nettle pesto on a slice of bread, top with a piece of goat cheese, and bake for just 5 minutes at 180°C (350°F) until the bread crisps and the cheese melts... Serve as an aperitif or in a warm goat cheese salad.
