Crisol was born in 1945 when our grandfather, Cristóbal Soler, made the first production of sobrasada with black pigs he had fattened himself.

Since then, four generations of the family have been involved in the expansion and modernization of the company, without ever losing sight of the fact that quality and natural preparation are the hallmarks of our products.

At Crisol we offer differentiated products -thanks to its natural formulation- and made exclusively with fresh pork from Majorca and Spain.

All our products are 100% natural: without colorings, without preservatives, without stabilizers, without added additives and without maturation regulators. In addition, all our preparations are free of allergens and certified by the IFS FOOD quality standard.

The origins of our company go back to 1945, when our grandfather Cristóbal Soler carried out the first production of sobrasada with black pigs he had fattened himself.
A decade later, his two youngest sons inaugurated the first Crisol plant and, in the mid-1970s, the company opened to the national market, taking advantage of the growth of the tourism sector and a technological improvement in the sausage production process.
In 1994, coinciding with the creation of the Sobrasada de Mallorca Protected Geographical Indication (of which we are founding members), we inaugurated a new sobrasada production and curing plant, and the third generation of the family took over the management of the company

In 2013, coinciding with the incorporation of the fourth generation of the family, we promoted a transversal modernization plan that included an improvement of our facilities, greater food safety and projection towards the foreign market, and culminated in the achievement of the IFS quality certificate. FOOD.

In our 2,500 m2 facilities we make Sobrasada de Mallorca and Sobrasada de Mallorca de Cerdo Negro (certified and protected by the Sobrasada de Mallorca Regulatory Council) as well as typical sausages from the island (camallot, varia and botifarrón).
At Crisol we supervise the entire production process and we are committed to the best meat raw material. For this reason, we cut the pigs in our facilities.
