El Dorado Single Still Enmore rum is produced from the Coffey still in Original wooden EHP, first built at the Enmore Estate in 1880. This still was named after the first owner of the plantation Sugar of Enmore, Edward Henry Porter, and was based on the original design of its inventor, the Irishman Aeneas Coffey. When the estate closed in 1990, this still was transferred to the Diamond Estate. This is the last wooden still in operation in the world Today. El Dorado Single Still Enmore Rum has been stored in barrels of oak for 12 years. Tasting notes Nose of caramel, mixed with toasted coconut and apple. A first taste of cooked peach and coconut with a smoky cedar finish. Excellent mouth feel.
