The 18th century estate of Plantation Versailles, which then belonged to the French family L'Amirault, was located on the west bank of the Demerara River and was famous for its golden rum. Distilled using a unique wood still, the Rum is colored with caramel before aging in oak barrels for 12 years. This rum celebrates the chocolatey and sweet taste of a well-aged rum.
