IGP Côtes de Gascogne Blend: Petit Manseng and Mauzac The Parfum d’Automne vintage is a surprising wine because it combines grape varieties that are very rarely blended. This is what makes it unique and rare. This wine has a lovely nose of exotic fruits, citrus, with floral notes. The finish is long and magnificent, on yellow fruits, peach and quince. The texture on the palate is fine and the wine is perfectly balanced by its acidity which gives it a good lightness. There is no heaviness. It is a powerful wine, easy to pair, equally at home with a roast chicken, an exotic fruit dessert or a sheep's cheese. It goes very well with duck breast marinated in honey and apple juice with a touch of balsamic vinegar.
