The Wine Barrel Reserva is distilled from a rigorous selection of molasses from the British West Indies. The rum will first benefit from aging for 6 to 8 years on the islands of Saint Kitts and Nevis before being transported to the Douro Valley in Spain. It will then continue its aging at Hacienda Zorita in wine barrels from the Ribera del Duero for 2 years. Nice notes of cocoa and chocolate, vanilla and toasted oak brought by the cask of Spanish wine. The tasting will end with a nice length. Bottled at 40% vol. with a sugar level of 4.5g/L.
