China black tea blend

Our China Black Blend tea is an organic tea that is packaged in our Gräfenhof tea factory in northern Germany. 

The black tea blend comes from China and is from controlled organic cultivation. 

The mixture of different tea leaves creates a unique taste that is spicy, malty and round. 

Due to the caffeine/tea it contains, our China Black Blend tea is particularly suitable as a tasty wake-up call in the morning or as an energy source for the day.The history of black tea can be traced back to the 17th century. 

It can be traced back to the 19th century, when European merchants discovered the tea trade. 

They imported large quantities of green tea from China, which was well received. 

But when a shipment of green tea on a ship from China was spoiled by the hot climate, black tea was born. 

The traders discovered that the oxidation process of the tea leaves created a new flavor that appealed to European tastes and brought black tea to European markets as a distinct variety.Our China Black Blend tea still relies on the flavors of black tea and combines them with a mixture of different black tea leaves from China. 

Due to the higher degree of oxidation, the tea leaves are darker and have a stronger taste than green tea.
