This type of agave forms the basis for tequilas with an aromatic structure. The process includes triple distillation and fermentation based on a specially developed yeast culture. Production and Maturation Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, and distillation takes place in stainless steel and copper stills. A brick oven with steam technology is used for gentle processing. The tequila then matures for six months in American white oak barrels – a process that gives the product its characteristic depth. Character and Uses Tequila Jalisco Reposado is perfect both on its own and in high-quality cocktail creations. It shows a balanced aroma between agave and fine wood notes.
