It is based on a specially developed gin, which is combined with regional fruits to create a fruit-focused product. Production and ripening The fruits are macerated separately for two months. After distillation in flame-fired copper stills, the spirit is blended with Dartmoor water and aged for three years in 80-year-old Niepoort Colheita Tawny port wine barrels. Before bottling, the product is macerated again with freshly harvested sloes. Aroma Profile and Serving Suggestions The gin has a deep red color, a pronounced fruity aroma with sweet and sour nuances, and a velvety texture. It is recommended neat or with ice and high-quality Indian tonic water. Can also be used in cocktails such as a Sloe Gin Fizz or The Modern Cocktail.
