BONITO, Sarda sarda or Sarda chilensis, is a cousin of tuna and mackerel. Often confused with tuna because of its shape, its flesh is more tender and its taste finer. Prepared and dressed by hand, our beautiful fillets have no of bones they are the leanest, noblest part of the fish. To ORGANIC EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL FROM NAVARRA, this recipe is very lightly salted to preserve all the flavor of the wild fish. No additives or coloring or other perlimpinpin! THE JEAN DE LUZ CANNERY IS: An organic, artisanal and local cannery. We are French craftsmen and proud of it, indeed the production of all our products is done manually in our workshop in Saint Jean de Luz in the Basque Country (New Aquitaine). And we are proud to have (re)localized traditional craftsmanship. A local approach. Located 6 km from the Criée de Saint Jean de Luz, our supply is wild (fish), organic and local. All our ingredients are sourced less than 250km from our workshop in Saint Jean de Luz. Committed to a zero waste and zero plastics approach, our packaging is 100% recyclable (and our cardboard recycled). Our recognitions: We are a member of the Culinary College of France and recognized Artisan Producer of Quality. We obtained an Epicure d'Or prize in 2021 by the jury of the World of Fine Grocery.
