A roasting time of 12-15 minutes at low temperatures is the secret of the tried and tested process. Project: The Columbia Excelsor EP Tolima coffee comes from coffee smallholders in the southern region of Tolima. The coffee farmers are active members of the "Asociación de Productiores Ecológicos de Planadas" (ASOPEP) and have been certified in relation to ecological coffee production and social standards (organic & fair trade). Each coffee farmer cultivates around 2.5 hectares coffee plantation and is trained by ASOPEP in sustainable cultivation.
