Village appellation of the Côte de Nuits, Morey-Saint-Denis is located between the illustrious Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny. The vines planted in the east are located between 220 and 270 meters above sea level. With a beautiful ruby color with purplish reflections, the nose is divided between black fruits and red stone fruits. With age, aromas of leather and game are added. On the palate, the strength of the body and the expression of the fruit make it a balanced, ample, powerful wine, with rounded tannins. Food & wine pairings: with its beautiful structure, Morey-Saint-Denis will highlight meats with character such as game or a beautiful steak. It will also go well with washed rind cheeses such as Epoisses, Munster or Livarot.
