Women's cooperative: Emanuel Presentation Café Kitché comes from a small organization of producers, predominantly women, in the community of Emanuel, municipality of NuevoProgreso, department of San Marcos, in the west of the country. This is ACOMNAT, which has around 30 producers, half of whom are women. Each family owns between 1 and 2 hectares on average. Families take care of the harvesting, processing and sun-drying of their coffee, taking great care at every step. Ideal conditions! The altitude of these territories, which varies between 1,300 and 1,800 m, associated with aromatic varieties such as Bourbon, Caturra and Catuai, is ideal for growing a Grand Cru coffee. In addition, the slightly humid climate and the plantations under shade allow good maturity of the coffee beans and well-developed aromas. This is what gives Kitché coffee a long-lasting coffee with floral, chocolate, nut and citrus notes, good acidity and intense body.
