Indonesia Java Beans

Fruity and floral coffee with notes of geranium, dried fruit and apricot. Species: 100% arabica Variety: Catimor, Line S, Typica Harvest: May to September Process: Semi-Washed Drying: African Beds IN REGARDS TO This Java coffee comes from the best and oldest terroir of the island: Sunda, in the West of the island. From the Bandung area on the Sunda terroir in West Java, this coffee is a blend of typica, line S and catimor. The Sundanese, culturally very different from the Javanese, attach great importance to their relationship with nature. This coffee is produced only under the shade of trees with wood of various species (pines, eucalyptus, erythrines, avocado trees). The mix of spices and red fruits on the palate perfectly reflects the complexity and subtlety of the Indonesian terroir. At each harvest, the coffee cherries are picked manually and brought to one of the cooperative's 3 cherry processing sites (Pacet, Ciwidey or Garut), in order to ensure a constant quality of the coffee beans until the cup. THE JAVA REGION Java is an island in Indonesia located between Sumatra and Bali. It is a volcanic soil, central to the Indonesian territory. The diversity of Indonesian profiles is impressive, imagine a territory larger than Europe, an agroforestry culture, very varied preparations and dry or wet clearing: here is the incredible diversity of this country.
