Algarve Fleur de Sel comes from southern Portugal, from Ria Formosa National Park. Sweet in taste and crunchy in consistency, it is known by the greatest Chefs. In this region, salt harvesting is an ancestral activity with traces of exploitation going back more than 2000 years. Recognizable by their matt white color and fineness of grain, these small crystals are obtained thanks to the sunlight from the location of its salt marshes. The 300 days of sunshine per year are conducive to natural evaporation and therefore to the harvest of fleur de sel. Its matte white color is obtained thanks to a natural drying time of around one year. The turquoise green pot was inspired by the color of the sea in the Algarve. This product obtained in 2020 the "3 stars" label which is the highest distinction of this label made up of renowned international chefs and culinary critics. This Fleur de sel is a must for lovers of fish, tartars, ceviche and all raw fish and meats.
