Our tasting committee largely praised this whole pure duck foie gras from the South West. And for good reason, it is both soft on the palate and powerful thanks to the hints of salt and pepper which enhance the taste of the duck. Gourmet without ever being greasy, Maison Sauveterre has managed to find an incomparable play of textures: first firm in the mouth, the foie gras then melts in the mouth to give way to a most pleasant creaminess. The foie gras reveals all its frank and noble aromas in this traditional “homemade” recipe. Our little tasting favorite: accompany the foie gras on a gingerbread toast, with a mango chutney! Yum !
