Chipotle pepper

Chipotle is a smoked chili that originates from the Chihuahua region of Mexico. With a degree of spiciness between 2,500 and 10,000 on the Scoville scale, it is made from Jalapeño peppers. This type of chilli is left to ripen on the bushes until it takes on a dark brown color and a wrinkled appearance, and is then harvested and dried in wood for several days. It stands out for its combination of fruity, smoky and spicy scents, perfect for giving uniqueness to sauces and marinades.
