Oolong Gaba Ruby tea from Taiwan - 50 g

This oolong tea from Taiwan characterized by medium-high oxidation comes from one of the most famous cultivars of the island which is Ruby #18 and has high concentrations of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). 

The oolong in question has become very famous because of this chemical substance which is generally found in many teas but, thanks to skilful processing, here there are much higher concentrations of the compound. 

The reason why this acid is of great interest is its properties on our body since it is a neurotransmitter whose main function is to inhibit some neuronal signals and participate in the formation of some hormones.
