Organic pecan nuts

The pecan or pecan nut is the fruit of the pecan tree (Carya illinoinensis), a tree of the Juglandaceae family, native to the southeastern United States and northern Mexico. It is a nut with an oleaginous almond, very energetic, containing 73% of lipids which provides 736 kcal / 100g. If in taste, the pecan nut is reminiscent of the walnut (of the common walnut), by its fatty acid composition, it is clearly distinguished from it.
