Coming from the best production areas in Spain, it is packaged naturally without added flavourings. This process allows obtaining the highest quality black truffle. This variety of truffle offers the maximum, on a gastronomic level, among all preserved truffles. It is used sliced or chopped to give a wide variety of dishes their desired flavour. It is recommended to use it in very thin slices on hot foods with moderate to intense flavor. It goes well with eggs, risotto, pasta, mashed potatoes and meats mainly. Also suitable for adding flavour to a variety of preparations such as Mi-Cuit duck liver, bechamel, sauces or meat stews. The juice serves as a condiment and accompanies the truffle to enhance its flavor. To make the preserve we use truffle, water and salt as ingredients. No other ingredients. Cooking is done at a low temperature, and during this process the truffle releases juice and loses weight. To obtain 10 gr. of drained net weight 13 gr are required. of fresh product. The branches of the pulp, also called veins, are not visible after cooking, so the preserved truffle, when sliced, has a uniform appearance inside. Storage The approximate shelf life of the unopened container is two to three years. Once the container has been opened but the entire product has not been consumed, it must be kept in the refrigerator at +4º for a period of no more than 10 days. Curiosities In ancient Rome, Pliny the Elder considered the truffle a gift from heaven and wrote: "The greatest miracle of nature is the birth and life of this tuber, which grows isolated and surrounded only by earth."
