Tradition meets modernity: harvest & Manufacturing As a result of our sustainability concept, the beechnuts are only harvested in selected forests. Management is carried out close to nature and according to strict social and ecological standards. The aim of the concept is to preserve the forest as a natural habitat with its function and to secure its existence. Due to gentle and seasonal harvesting methods, the impact on the forest ecosystem is kept as low as possible. Modern, computer-aided forecast models make economical harvesting possible.      After harvesting, the beechnuts are gently dried to preserve all the important nutrients. Using our patented peeling technology, the beechnuts are peeled, sorted and prepared for further processing.      Now the art of the oil miller begins according to old, traditional crafts. The products are roasted by hand and then mechanically pressed using a traditional process. No heat is added during the pressing itself, so the products are considered “cold pressed” according to strict regulations.      We do not use filters or even chemical purification. You only have to invest a little time until the oils can be bottled after pressing.      Omega-3 source Our beechnut oils are considered a source of omega-3 (α-linolenic acid) and also have a high content of linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid. Both fatty acids are essential fatty acids and are therefore not produced by the body itself and must be consumed with food. α-Linolenic acid and linoleic acid also contribute to maintaining normal cholesterol levels in the blood. The positive effects can occur with a daily consumption of 2 g of α-linolenic acid and 10 g of linoleic acid.      General information: In order to best preserve the delicate taste and valuable ingredients, our oils should only be heated slightly. At the same time, they should be stored cool and protected from light, as this prevents premature oxidation of the product and preserves the quality of the oil. You store opened oils in the refrigerator and are best used as soon as possible.    Creative usage ideas - quick, easy & delicious: - Enhance forest and game dishes in style - Refine sauces and soups - Make dressings for salads - Topping for (breakfast) bowls and muesli - As a starter, simply add it to freshly baked/toasted bread - Add the finishing touches to dishes, e.g.b. for vegetables, rice, potatoes or pasta - For German-Asian cuisine - Excellent in the dessert sector for an exquisite nutty note Ingredients: Beechnut oil, roasted* *from sustainable wild collection May contain traces of soy, nuts, sesame, peanuts and lupins.
