But it also indirectly helps the immune system by regenerating vitamin C, E and glutathione. Resveratrol has blood circulation-enhancing properties by improving nitrogen (=NO) bioavailability. Nitrogen is a gaseous molecule which, as a messenger substance, controls the size of the blood vessels. Resveratrol is part of the cell cycle and promotes the formation of antioxidant enzymes.
