Flavor profile: tangy and sweet, notes of citrus and caramel The Idukki region is located in the state of Kerala, nicknamed “land of the gods” for its lush vegetation and its rich fauna (elephants, leopards, tigers). Cocoa cultivation has recently developed under the leadership of the GoGround cooperative which helps producers in the region. These beans, called Mankuva, from the Trinitario and Forastero varieties, are grown in agroforestry, in symbiosis with black pepper, cardamom or papaya. All our cocoa comes from exceptional terroirs, in an ethical and transparent approach.
