Mack Khen from Laos - 50g - (Sichuan Pepper family)

A close relative of the Sichuan pepper, Mack Khen is known for its beautiful aromatic elegance, with a fresh but fruity flavor, with intense notes of citrus and mandarin. 
This berry, native to Laos, is not a pepper, but a close relative of the Chinese Szechuan and the Japanese Sansho. 
Grind to desired size in a traditional pepper mill and dispense onto plates of your choice. 
It is mainly used with fish and pork, but it can also be used with any other meat. 
For a unique, fresh flavor, grind it finely and pour it over salads or roasted vegetables. 
Mack Khen is rich in bioactive compounds that have been traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine for generations.
