Kampot pepper is grown naturally following the essential principles of organic agriculture in the construction and conservation of soils, pest management, and the conservation of the heritage of the species. It is used whole, broken into 2 or 3 parts, crushed with a mortar, ground in a grinder or grated with a nutmeg grater (grind or grate just before use).
